Dr. Tanya Ungerer
Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Tanya and her family are thrilled to have recently settled in Gladstone. She completed her veterinary studies at Onderstepoort, South Africa in 2002, and spent nearly four years working in the UK in both small animal practice and emergency medicine. It was there she met her husband, and together they returned to South Africa to purchase and run a small animal clinic in the Western Cape, which they owned for 16 years. In 2020, she completed a year of study through the Chi University in Florida, earning a diploma in Veterinary Acupuncture. After relocating to New Zealand in 2022, she worked there for over three years before making the move to Gladstone. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, cycling, running, reading, and horse riding.

Kim
PRATICE MANAGER
Kim started working in vet clinics when she finished school and has been a Veterinary Nurse for 16 years. Kim started working with us in 2014. Kim has a wide range of knowledge from her years of experience and has an interest in equine health. Kim really enjoys working at the Gladstone Vet Clinic and the family atmosphere that has been created amongst the team. She feels very proud to be part of such a caring practice.
Kim lives on a property which is home to many animals such as horses, cattle, chooks and peacocks. She also has 4 dogs and 2 cats. In her sparetime Kim enjoys riding her horses and spending time with her 2 gorgeous kids.
